Call Recording if using Headset?

Has anyone confirmed whether or not call recording will capture both sides of the call audio if the phone user is wearing a Bluetooth and/or wired headset? I am not sure how the recording functionality is designed and if it uses the phone's microphone or records the stream of the incoming call digitally somehow.
